—-Currently: about to take a lovely little nap —-In the last few days of last week: talked with a girl and her boyfriend about Jesus, the gospel, and the Bible, then was able to give her a copy of a 40-day New Testament reading book which is written in English and Modern Chinese (and she was SO excited!!) —-On Friday, I said goodbye to one of my precious preschoolers who now has a family and will be living in Texas in just a couple of weeks (soon as all the paperwork/legal work gets taken care of here in China) —-Have now been to: -Tiananmen Square -Forbidden City -Olympic Park -Temple of Heaven -Summer Palace -Silk and Pearl Markets -Great Wall Over the weekend: —Climbed the Great Wall -witnessed one of my teammates be proposed to by her boyfriend ON the Great Wall. Said boyfriend FLEW TO CHINA TO SURPRISE HER (guys, take notes) —Tobaggoned DOWN the Great Wall (ohhh YEAH BUDDY!!!!) —Shopped at the Silk Market —Ate Beijing duck —Ate the BRAINS of a Beijing duck (it’s a delicacy, kids) —Went to the ZOO and saw … wait for it… PANDAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
